Electric actuators with high-accuracy roller screw gears

Exlar electric actuators are constructively based on mechanic epicyclic roller screw gearset, translating rotational motion into linear motion, which is directly integrated into the servo-engine rotor with permanent magnets. The servo-engine used in Exlar electric actuators is equipped with various types of feedback sensors: from standard resolvers (similar to rotary transformers) to high-accuracy and precision absolute multiturn encoders with SickStegmann HyperFace, EnDat Heidenhain, Yaskawa interfaces used for linear positioning. Sensor resolution ranges from 4,096 to 8 million counts delivering linear resolution up to 1 micron. Electric motor stator winding is made under the T-LAM technology according to which laminated segments do not have ends, hence increasing torque moment and reducing external dimensions. The winding is covered with a special compound and pressed into the electric actuator body. This ensures complete integrity and environment insensitivity.
