Direct Drive high-speed electro-magnetic actuators
Unique LinMot electro-magnetic linear servo-engines refer to the class of direct electro-magnetic drives. Electric engine consists of two parts - slider and stator. The slider consists of rare-earth magnets arranged in a certain manner and placed into a strong stainless steel casing - a cylinder acting as a rod. The stator consists of windings, linear sleeve bearings, built-in linear feedback sensor and microprocessor circuit for overall linear motor operation monitoring (control unit may also be detached by up to 50 meters). LinMot electric actuators are designed for operation in high-dynamic processes, requiring precise accuracy, acceleration and speed.
Replacement of pneumatic actuators at certain process sections with LinMot equipment leads to substantial increase in lines performance and products manufacturing accuracy. High reliability of equipment excludes maintenance-related expenditures almost completely. Electric energy saving is also a weighty reason to replace pneumatic equipment with electric actuators.
Special mention should be made of the more recent LinMot products, specifically, of the LinRot drives series capable of rotating the extended rod (e.g. feed and screw bottle caps).
